How to: Install a PS/2 trackball.

Solution:


Turn off the computer, connect the new trackball to a PS/2 trackball port, and turn on the computer.
NOTE: Install a PS/2 trackball driver if necessary.

NOTE 1: The trackball installation disk may include a program that will 'test' the trackball installation (typically named test.com). Refer to the trackball installation manual for detailed configuration information.
NOTE 2: If the trackball does not work after installing the trackball driver, check for a resource conflict with the PS/2 mouse port. PS/2 mouse port connectors commonly use IRQ12 and I/O port address 60h and 64h.
